Joana Scharnagl is a 28-year old Frankfurt-based fashion photographer and visual artist working internationally. She studied Photography & Media at Hochschule Darmstadt where she developed a strong focus on conceptional imagery.

In addition to her commercial campaigns, Joana Scharnagl develops independent photographic projects exploring identity, cultural narratives and the emotional depth behind human presence, combining fashion, portraiture and artistic research.
